How to Apply for your Degree Course
Applying Through UCAS
For admissions to Hadlow College for BSc/BA Degrees, HNDs or Foundation Degree courses you must apply through the on-line Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). The application fee for this service is £23 for more than one choice, or £12 for a single choice The UCAS handbook and details on applying can be obtained from your current school or college, or if you have left school/college or are a mature entrant, you can visit their website (www.ucas.com) for information on applying
Both the UCAS Handbook and the 'Apply' pages of the UCAS website give detailed guidance on completing your application so please read it carefully. It is important to ensure that all sections of the application are completed, paying particular attention to the qualifications (both complete and incomplete) personal statement and reference sections. Any missing information will lead to a delay in your application being processed.
When to Apply?
For September 2017 entrance, you should apply as soon as possible. Although UCAS have specified 15th January 2017as the 'on-time' deadline for applications, they continue to accept and process applications throughout the remainder of the application year and so do we.
Hadlow College guarantees to consider all applicants for all courses irrespective of the timing of the application, provided places are still available, right up to October 2017.
I Have Applied, When Will I Hear?
At Hadlow College, we process all applications and make appropriate offer decisions within 5 days of receiving them from UCAS and usually it is quicker than that. For anyone who wishes to find out sooner, we are happy for you to contact us at any time to find out the status of your application. The numbers can be found on the right hand column.
After we make you an offer, you will be invited to visit the College in the near future for an Information Event or Open Day. This is an opportunity for you to visit the College, meet the staff and students and find out more about studying at a Rural University.
